I thought I heard my dad say his name at the bridge a few times since I first logged on there but you know how it is, things aren't coming in clear enough to say with any certainty that what's being said isn't something just in ones imagination especially when it comes to names that come in all the time in our regular evp recording sessions outside of the Bridge. But having said this, some of the recordings posted here in this forum from the Bridge have been surprisingly good so this certainly is very encouraging!

Well, anyway, I got the attached recording last week and this morning I took the time to listen to it carefully. There was a lot being said on it but I isolated the part that I think others might be able to discern what's being said in it. At any rate, to my ears, I'm hearing it very clearly.

I had heard my dad's name being said a second or so earlier so I then said "Hi Dad" which you can hear at the beginning of this clip. Then after I said that, what followed was unintelligible (deleted that part in the attached clip) couldn't understand what was being said but then after that I heard my dad say, "It's Eddie, listen to me".

Had to convert the raw segment of the clip I posted in the first post to mp3 from 'wav' because the wav. file was too big to upload here.. hope this works. In my first clip in my first post here, I denoised it and raised the pitch a bit of my dad's voice where he's saying "It's Eddie, listen to me" also speeded it up a little too because when I did that, I heard what he was saying more clearly. Attached is the raw version of that clip.

PS Also... in this raw clip, my name (linda) is said right after my dad says It's Eddie, listen to me. Cut that off in my first audio clip I posted in my first post here ... didn't even realize it was there until I just listened to the mp3 converted clip of the raw version that I have attached here in this post.

I just read over the Basic Guidelines on the Stream page and #1 says this:
Voice 1. If you hear a loud, buzzing noise - that is most likely spirit. It cannot be understood (so far), so do not exert effort to make the unintelligible intelligible.Participants are encouraged to attempt to interact with spirit, however basic the mode of communication may be. Do not claim what is not true, and if you want to demonstrate interaction with spirit, this is best done with recordings that include both sides of the interaction, both yours and spirit. Spend some time on the stream, and your questions will be answered.

The part that I underlined caught my attention because in my first audio clip (also its raw version too), I included my voice at the beginning of it saying "Hi Dad" where I mentioned that I said that because I thought I had heard my dad saying his name a second or so earlier.

But I didn't include the first section of the recording where I thought I heard him say his name because I only wanted to post the best part of this longer recording, a part that I thought some here might be able hear what I'm hearing. So that's the part I isolated which included me saying "Hi Dad" at the beginning which I included to show that I was interacting with my dad at the time when I was recording from the Bridge. That clip is in my first post here.

So because I was interacting with my dad after I heard his name being said where I then responded by saying "Hi Dad", I'm posting this longer version of the recording that includes those sections where I thought I heard him say his name as well as what's in the first clip, a part that I isolated from this longer attached recording. That part is at the end of this recording.

Here's the waveform image of this recording which shows where those understandable voices (the ones I thought I understood what was being said) are coming in. I left in the sections that to me are unintelligible intact and did not delete them. Those sections are included in this audio too.

Just thought I would post this clip... I isolated it from the longer version I have posted in this thread, the part where I heard my dad say "It's Ed Flanagan speaking" and when I heard that I said "Hi dad!".
