 Hello Ron,
           As you say it's all about the software that we use, but then again our soundcards are just as important in what we are capable of pulling from an audio sample. I also feel that our personal hearing abilities are paramount in our deciphering of what we think we hear.

Listening is not hearing just as looking is not seeing .  :wink:
