Looks like you all need some new folks around here. I have a background in electronics, my vocation is the repair of electronic audio equipment. I also have a very strong background in living in very active places. Where im at now, not so much. I have been unusually motivated in the past few weeks and starting to get back into things, after playing around with some apps, and what not. So whatever there you go......

Hi, pleasure to meet you and welcome to the forum! What kind of programs have you been playing with, you have me curious.... I just spent the last several hours trying to successfully stream audio using UDP packets, with the knowledge that spirit can influence them, as they are not corrected as normal TCP (most internet traffic is. Not much luck today... Look forward to your involvement, as we all share and learn together. Keith

That sounds rad, and very time consuming. The apps i have been playing with are nothing out of the ordinary, the stuff bill chappel is putting out. They are okay devices, but there can be alot of deciphering what is actaully relevent. When they do hit, its pretty on. All of the digital stuff is intrigueing, but i like a little more primitive methods. If my brain understands what the device is doing......its important to me to know what kind energy was manipulated to get the results. I dunno, kinda like there are certain techniques that work for some that dont for others, and i think it is because, to the people conducting the experiment, it makse sense to them that is "could work".

So you are analyzing these packets, are you converting them into audio? How does this work?

not analyzing on a binary or hexadecimal level....yet, just toying with the idea of streaming a source of audio over udp to non local machine to see how spirit can use it. I've seen spirit pixelate video live sent in this format, and it makes sense to me as to how they could do that. It is but one of many ideas.... agreed with you on the other. I am very confident that if the people with the right knowledge modified the device that Bill sells strictly as hobby items, there is much to be gained. We all get ideas, some of them may work, some are impractical, most are never created, many are considered successful only by those who use them....we have the full spectrum indeed. Keith
