anyone know of a good pc software to convert images to sound.

I like how this guy was doing this small youtube video.

but he dont state any onfo on what software he was using.?

There are tons of software out there to do this with, even an iPhone app. A quick and dirty 30 second google search pulled this up for PC computers:

Yes, When I began working with spectrographs, I tested and used software for blind people called vOICe.

It's how I made the youtube video here:

Go to the halfwaty point and you will see where I have converted an image into sound.

Hi thanks.
i found this software and was thinking of trying it out, it is audio spectrogram, not what i was looking for, i was looking for something like you are using Spectrogram ITC (Images through Sound) what software is that your using.??

Here is the one i found, might not be nothing like yours.

I guess we will have to go and poke about a bit longer until something more satisfactory comes about. Like anything else use the tools that you feel most comfortable with. :D Long ago I had written a small assembler program that ran on an Apple II computer through the tape input and record output jacks to convert images to sound and vice-versa. It was very crude but would make noises much like static and dolphin calls and pops.

Now you all have me wondering if the random CMOS sensor pickup noise one gets when doing long, night time exposures may contain messages, since it is widely believed within ITC community that there is order in the seeming chaos of atmospheric/electronic "noise". Further area to roam and explore...

I see a few nights ahead of me taking photographs with my lens cap on. :)
