If you would like to submit a youtube video (or any other type) and you would like me to insert the player in the forum for you, just contact me and I'll be happy to do that for you.

************************************************************

For those of you savvy enough to do it yourselves, here's how to insert an embedded youtube video:

1. On the YouTube video page, top right corner, you will see two boxes: url and embed. First, copy the entire contents of the EMBED box. (to your clipboard or any other location)

2. Out of this embed box, the only thing we want to keep and use is: example - http://www.youtube.com/v/3S-4e-wxd6U&hl=en&fs=1
(Note: this is NOT the same as the information in the URL box.)
Copy this link from the embed information and discard the rest.

3. Go to the forum where you are making the post. Make a post and click on the red flash button (in between the blur text and windows media player buttons). If you receive a browser popup button, click on "temporarily allow scripted windows." If you see this, you will have to click on the red flash button again.

4. You will see a window that says "Script Prompt" and URL. Remove the http already in the box and paste your link that you have from step2. Click OK. You will now see a box that looks like this:

[**flash=320,256]http://www.youtube.com/v/3S-4e-wxd6U&hl=en&fs=1[/flash]

(I added the two astericks in the beginning - ignore those, please)

5. If you really want to be nitpicky, you can change the variables above after the word flash=. You would want to use proportional variables, such as 480,392 or 640,512   etc.

6. Make your post. And you're done! If you have any questions, write me.

Keith
