That is another way that is useful but DC6 has a trick, that hitting the ALT key puts the memory buffers into cycling and repeting the last couple of seconds over and over till hitting ALT again,thus it's possible to get instant repeats.The lenght of time of the repetioned is controlled by the amount of buffers selected in  EDIT/PREFERENCES/SOUNDCARD/PREVIEW BUFFERS . The sample rate being used also effects that lenght.To get this effect DIRECT X must be active(same window as the preview buffer change0.There is a bug in DC6 that if more than 18 buffers are selected,next time the program is used the buffers go back to 18.The boys at DC6 have been told but they didn't know about the ALT key effect.
