Having been brought up in the Catholic Church, I would have thought the best person to discuss this with is your local parish priest. Even if you're not Catholic, most have open doors and if you've got a genuine interest they'll take the time to share their thoughts with you.
I can't quite see where the ITC link is though, do you still have the recorded reply?
