The outline of the thought, is to have a microchip develop the tones needed for Spiricom.
Rather than use a computer or collections of components, different with each experiment, the chip would handle the basic functions.

I note that people have had great success with certain tones and that the increments are somewhat of a formula ?

What I would like to know, is how such tones could be best combined and utilized dependably within research, repeatable by others.

The technical side of which could be formed from devices used all over the place and commonly available, leading to a one chip solution in the future once ironed out.
Initial designs may make use of a Wavetable sound chip and Eprom for the stored frequencies, or Yamaha YMF-2149, or AY-3-8912 3 channel items and individual channel multiplexing.
Does anyone have experience of these chips and perhaps PIC programming ?
