Hello,

The following is copied from an email sent by AAEVP on 12/26/07:

AA-EVP founder, Sarah Estep, was taken to the Hospital on Christmas day.  The doctors have given her just a few days to live.  Her family hopes to bring her home to care for her until her transition. If you want to be kept up to date on this please email us back at [email protected], otherwise we will post general information in a second broadcast.  Our prayers are with Sarah for an easy crossing. We know that there will be many who will be waiting to greet her.  Our prayers are also with her family to help them through this difficult time.

Tom and Lisa Butler

:end of email:

For those of you who do not know, Sarah Estep is one of the foremost pioneers of EVP and communication with spirit. She is also the founder of the American Association of Electronic Voice Phenomena.

Her work has been the conduit through which many people have been introduced to evp and life after death. Her first book is responsible for my introduction to ITC.

Please think of her and her family during this time.

Keith

Hi Jeff,

This is the latest I've heard. It is a portion of the newsletter email sent by the AAEVP yesterday to their members:

Keith
***************************************

Hello all,

We send this issue of the NewsJournal to you with mixed emotions. We are always optimistic about what the new year might bring and we are excited to have new adventures. This year though, we are also saddened that AA-EVP founder, Sarah Estep, is preparing to make her transition to the other side. As is usually the case, the burden is on those who remain in the physical, as we are confident that Sarah is already "looking around" at where she is soon to live. Give your thoughts to Sarah and her family in your meditation, and we will send out a general message to you when she has succeeded in her transition.

In the meantime, lets all determine to make her proud by making this the year that EVP becomes mainstream.

The following is copied from an email from Tom and Lisa Butler of the AAEVP:

Sarah Estep made her transition today Jan 3, 2008 at 1:11 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Kalis Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road in Edgewater, Maryland; on Tuesday Jan 8, 2008 at 10 a.m. telephone 410.956.4488.

Her daughter said that she had a smile on her face. This great pioneer will be deeply missed but we know that she will be happy with her renewed body and mind.  We wish her a exciting new life.  Lisa and Tom

Hi Jeff, here is the lastest on Sarah from the AA-EVP sight:

David UK

Sarah Estep, who established the AA-EVP in 1982, made her transition to the other side January 3, 2008.

Sarah has been a pioneer in the study of EVP, both in her work as an EVP experimenter and the long service she provided in the support of the EVP community during a time that EVP was little known and poorly understood. Her first book, Voices of Eternity, has been the introduction to EVP for numerous people, who have in turn, gone on to make important contributions to the field.

Join us in honoring her work by taking a few minutes in meditation to thank her. We are confident she will hear your thoughts.

If you believe Sarah has been a beneficial influence in your study of things etheric, consider taking time to send us a message describing why you think she has to our contact address.
