Hello, Here are several new smoke & water pictures. What you see in the picture is a bass speaker box that I pulled from my car. It was used for experiments in combination with smoke and water. I wondered how the fluctuation from the speakers reverberating at different frequencies would affect the smoke. Keith Attached Image (viewed 1045 times): |

I tried experiments with Cymatics, but as it turned out I didn't have the resources to duplicate such experiments at this time successfully. Nevertheless, it was still very interesting. There are some very cool experiments on YouTube with people showing how sound waves affect things such as water, salt granules, corn starch and other things. pic1 Keith Attached Image (viewed 858 times): |

No ITC in this picture, only thought someone may like the beauty of it. Keith Attached Image (viewed 729 times): |

Interesting stuff Keith. Did you keep the power the same to the speakers while changing frequency? What were the frequencies at the time of the photo shots? Jeff |

Hi Jeff, Yes, the power was kept the same. The best results seemed to be at about 60 hz. I didn't have the power to succeed in affecting the water when suspended above the speaker. As it was the neighbors must have really enjoyed it. I'll try again when I have the resources. Keith |

Wow - I can say that you must feel as though you are guided to come up with these ideas - the smoke over speakers videos are nice. It looked like there was some wind though goin from left to right; maybe you can set this up inside a box. Erland B. used lasers and a hologram idea for voices; he even had a speaker involved but for voices; I wonder if I use a speaker for sound across the hologram ( I am also going to use LED's so I can vary the light frequencies; I hadnt planned on going video tho. I can run an IR cam and would have to try and sweep the laser like scan traces on a tv. MrZeta |

A truly fascinating set of experiments. I have one thought to possibly trial. How about running a known, clear, Class A EVP in a loop and seeing what the smoke or water does ? It combines our recent thoughts on the sound to vision, from your other recent experiments. Extra data, images from EVP's, could be gleaned by using such techniques ? Another thought, would be to use the water method, directly connected to a live EVP session. The tape recorder runs whatever is coming into it, back out to the speaker, and the water might be affected. In such a way, a spirit may be able to be shown, coming forward during an investigation or other EVP session. A viewing addition for live study might include a strobe light, as seen in some 'Instructibles' videos, where people catch a drop of water seemingly in mid air. Strobing the water movements could yield an animation of the spirit presence. Last edited on Jun 19th, 2008 07:38 AM by Slider2732 |
