Mike Colletta to my understanding was responsible for the modification of the RS 12-469 digital radio. Although the mod was simple it has opened a whole new world of possibilities. One of those possibilities was the arrangement he put together using three 12-469's, a four channel mixer, and a microphone. He plugged those into a laptop running Audacity, which provided the whitenoise and a recording program.

I have duplicated that arrangement but added my own little twist to it. Instead of using a typical microphone to record my voice I use an optical microphone of my own design. The mixer also feeds into my laptop but instead of Audacity I use DC6 Live with Soundsoap2.

I was happily surprised when I turned the equipment on, applied the software to the signal and received audible speech right off the bat. The fact that I got speech didn't surprise me rather than the equipment working as well as it did.

Anyways, here are a few samples of what I have received.

My primary contact is a person named Jacob. The other spirits call him Jake for short (which he doesn't like and told me so some time back). I would like to point out the personality in the voice and possible accent, that is something I never got with direct Radio.

Maybe they mean guilt can sneak up on you.

Hi Frank,

I listened to the files, sounds like a neat experiment. I don't pretend to understand all of the technical aspects of your endeavors, but certainly look forward to the output your experiments produce. Keep us posted.

Thanx Keith,

As you know Misty and I did an experiment last night where she wrote down a word on the computers wordpad. She had me ask my spirit team to say the word she wrote. Not only did they say the word before I asked the question but they yelled it several times after my question. Neat huh!?

Regards,

Frank R.

Yes, but it is an automatic sweep. The 3 radios are each scanning across the FM band. Two are scanning up, one is scanning down and each are separated by 30 or 40 MHz.

It depends! If you can hear them in real time and you respond in real time I would suggest here. If they have to be cleaned or listened to after recording then it needs to go into EVP. Although, I always thought they needed there own classification. They are not exactly traditional EVP and they aren't DRV. I've been calling them interactive EVP.

Wow, latecomer to this forum, but I love that setup. I am going to try and emulate it as soon as possible. Excellent work!
