This method involves using an FM radio for a manual linear sweep supplying the audio. The audio is fed to a small 1:1 audio transformer ans modulates a yellow LED. This modulated optical signal is pointed at a photomultiplier vacuum tube. The output of the tube is fed to a recorder. Static is reduced using ClearVoice on mild custom settings. First example:

I hear first a female and then a male voice,

"We come from the aether...I don't think he heard us"

Dave

Another example from the same two minute session.

Female voice,

"The smoker has his candy"

I do not smoke, this can have a double meaning.

Hi Dave,

I've been quite busy lately, but I do follow your work. There's not much for me to say other than the fact that the experimentation you do is quite groundbreaking and extremely consistent. I may not always comment, but your work intrigues me. your work is a "staple" of the ITC community.

Talk to you soon,

Keith

Thanks Frank, I can hear the message as you do. I got a rather long one today. Listen for a high female voice with 'personality'. The second half could be another message, perhaps related to the first. My perception is 'they' are disapointed with the voice quality.

"No..wonder , I don't want to go testing....Make it smoother"

Thanks again Frank,

Dave

The recording method I used (in this thread) uses an optical link (tx and rx). This capture mentions 'optical filter'. I hear this term often when using this system.

"Optical filter"

This is an interesting capture from the same session as the two above.

"Name channel.........channel five"

Channel five is not used for broadcasting in this area.
