Greetings from Colorado.
I’ve been lurking this site for the past couple of years, reckon it’s time to contribute. It’s refreshing to see the level of knowledge and courtesy y’all have here in this forum. Harder and harder to find these days.
My wife and I have been collecting EVP since about ’05, (recently stopped). A pretty bizarre event sparked our interest in the paranormal around ‘01 and we've been exploring it ever since. I was a cynic before this, pretty binary opinions about the paranormal. Now I’d say I’m skeptical of the root cause, but a firm believer in the legitimacy of this phenomenon. I guess, I’m half way to enlightenment!
Over the past several years, I've become more abstract than analytical in my perspective of the paranormal. This sometimes put me at philosophical odds with the growing data driven crowd. More so than ever, I've been feeling a bit out of place on most forums. I much prefer the humanitarian approach i.e., how can these observations help others to better understand and (sometimes) cope with the paranormal. To be honest, I’m not quite sure I’m interested as much anymore with how or why these events happen, just that they do.
So, that’s why I’m here. Relax, hang out and share some EVPs.

Arthur.

Greetings Arthur,

Welcome to the forum.

Its nice when folks come out of the shadows...so to speak and decide to participate.

I am glad you are willing to share your knowledge with us.

I'm looking forward to hearing any EVP samples you care to post.

If you have any questions....post away. :)

Take Care,
Ron

Thanks Ron -
Will do. I have used 'soundcloud' in the past to share with a couple of friends. When I post, I'll just link to the sample. Most of most of my EVPs are on thumb drive now, so finding the raw data is a little more time consuming. If I post something you'all are interested in parsing out, let me know and I will send you the .WAV file.

Hi Arthur, same here, I may be a little slow, but I always come back around, like a cat looking for the milk left outside the back porch...
Welcome!

I would agree with you, after a period of time one starts to relax a little bit and accept the fact that we can't understand everything we don't know, and its ok to just appreciate the beauty of this life and how the world consciousness is changing. Some never make it to later stages, getting past the initial disappointment and sense of urgency of sharing the world of spirit with the physical world - to the next development of learning how to exchange with others and grow together with spirit to figure out how to make a personal contribution.

Well, enough of my own little speeches, see you on the forum!

Keith
