Reference: http://www.worlditc.org/c_04_s_bridge_19.htm There seems to be some very interesting work going on here. I wonder what the significance of 37.5 MHz is and if this was AM or FM? Mike

I tried a variation this technique with equipment I have at hand. In my tests I used a 27 mhz tube type transmitter (AM). The block diagram is in this thread link. What was interesting was the feedback produced was the sound of RF feedback (more of a howl). I was expecting an acoustical feedback (more of a squeal). http://www.itcbridge.com/forum/view_topic.php?id=1336&forum_id=32

Hmm wow Dave looks like you have been on the path I am just considering. I thought the voice was rather good! How did you supply the six IR frequencies? I can't work that bit out.

I used a simplified variation and used just one white LED for a test. I still don't understand the six different IR wavelengths Hans used and how they would interact. The details on the device are sketchy. I remember reading somewhere his later device used multiple UV LED's focused through quartz crystals.

Gets more and more complex! Has anyone asked the spirit world what we should do? When ever I ask a medium they seem to clam up.

Hello, First...the 37.5 mhz is an arbitrary rf or radio freq probly readily available at the time; probly AM - the end of the main hf band is 30mhz (am, sideband, etc)...FM starts around 100mhz (megahertz). The ir freqs for selective (diodes...) used together - the small differences are the (maybe) spiricom tone pitch frequencies, each a little bit wider in freq for ex 850-852-855-859 for a diff in 2, 3, 4 nm however finding ir (diodes) to match these freqs are imossible (I am missing something)...the main freqs are then filtered out leaving the remaining (spiricom) tone freqs with whatever noise at those rf levels (IR) may have been added... The tones are then summed (?) as in the spiricom device...proportions used. I didnt read into the details that much...the 37.5 mhz and IR 'tones' comprise the spiricom at those freqs instead of say 1500khz and audio tones direct as in the original spiricom. I am amazed they tried IR devices in those days. My only thinking is to use filters to provide the tone(s); generated freqs at that level have to be very stable. Interesting. MrZeta

For some reason, I am feeling bad about the Spiricom, not sure why? I am thinking more along the lines of providing a raw audio source like white or pink noise, sending this via the LED cluster (or IR diode later) Maybe looping it back. I am also wondering if we could set up a Skype live test session? I am using two laptops for the tests so one could run skype at the same time maybe. Is this something others here would be interested in? PM me if you are and lets sort out a time.

You got me thinking Mike, I want to do long term experiments with Skype, my radio, and perhaps other 3rd party applications that use udp instead of tcp for voice transmission (so the data isn't error corrected, giving spirit a chance to influence it)...been on my mind awhile.... anyone know hot to create a voip conference that anyone can listen to anytime? I'd provide the source, and expect the ending result tohave been modified.... Keith

Hi Keith, There are a few services emerging that offer Skype access to a conference bridge. Here is one that a Google search found. I cannot vouch if the service is good or bad. It is not a free service. http://www.turbobridge.com/landing/personal.html
