This is my second attempt at the raudive diode receiver. My first one was your basic receiver that looks alot like TevKev. After the initial build I thought to myself. This could be way smaller and portable. With that in mind I created this.

At first I didnt think it was gonna work since I had to stuff alot of small parts in an even smaller container. but after managing I tried it out. The first EVP i caught was of a man who said "This Is A Test". Sadly I have since lost this file. But I have recorded more and will upload shortly. I got another EVP that I think says "You Can Call Back" or something like that. Anyways thanks for listening!

Hello Bravo,

Your external mic looks very interesting indeed.

In your clip(s) I can hear as you do in a higher pitch response.  What sounds like tapping in the first 2 seconds is different.

Welcome to the forum and I hope to hear more of your ideas and clips.

Good Job,
Ron

Thanks Ron. I am still trying to get used to the whole RAUDIVE idea. I think it is crazy how many voices I have come across in just my living room. The oscillating sound you hear is my recorder. It is an olympus recorder set to the lowest quality. Though the mics are set extra sensitive. My next step is to figure a way to remove alot of the white noise and an external momentary mic so that I can record my questions along with the raudive recordings. I have some more I will have to upload when I can. Thank you for listening and your input.

I'm sure Clockdryve and Mikesndbs will be happy to collaborate with you.  They have been experimenting with Raudive diodes.

I think Clockdryve has a diode setup with a contact switch and microphone.

Good luck this weekend.  Hope you get some good EVPs.

Speaking of EVPs…….here is one you might like.  It is not done with a 1N34A but recorded in the usual manner using the built-in mic.

While I am not part of a group,  my wife and I have been out and about to a couple of different places in our area.

Recently we tagged along with some alleged psychics to a home business where the store is downstairs and living quarters upstairs.

I went along specifically to record the psychics doing their thing because I was curious what sort of interaction; if any would take place.

The following EVP is from early in the evening when things were just getting started.  My recorder (Olympus VN3200PC) was at the very back of the group and pointed away from everyone.  Teri, the group leader is speaking.

From Time Index  3.942  -  5.397  a  Male sends a shout out with:    Thomas says hey

I like the way the  “air pressure”  changes as the EVP is recorded.  Keeping in mind that the OLY was at the back of the room pointed away from everyone;  it would seem that Thomas was particularly close to the recorder as he sent his greeting.

Both Un-Enhanced and Filtered versions are included.

Regards,
Ron

Man those are awesome I love EVPs that have vocal depth. Not the usual whispery voices. Good JOB!!

I also hear it as "thomas say hey" and also as a single male voice. The "UnEnhanced" version makes it stand out even more...and a 10X loop will show the voice carries the same pattern all the way through the sentence. Nice capture. *I didnt hear it at first because it was so nicely mixed in with the other voices...in the filtered version :)
