No problem guys, (not used here in the UK much)
He's with me Junior, (never used in UK)
Wake up Joey/Joe, (uncommon name in UK)
Hey Punkin, ( nice but again not used in UK)
Bobby, (uncommon name, would be Bob here in the UK)

Sadly I can't link any of the names :-(

Hope this makes it clear about accents, not trying to be rude at all!

Mike

I understand Mike!  I only say what I hear and unfortunately I hear a lot.   Why does it have to have an English accent or phrase?  Couldn't you have picked up on something since it was going to be heard here?  Who knows!  Just an idea!   I'd like to hear more of your stuff though!  When you have time, post some more for me!

Thanks, Debbie

Hi

OK Debbie, I'd be most interested to hear what you can hear in this clip.

Sounds almost musical, its repeated once.

Believe it or not, I can hear Debbie twice in there.  First Debbie, "then you're stupid" and Debbie again near the end.  I'm sure that's probably not what you hear but there it is!

Thanks for posting Mike,

Debbie

Yep, I don't hear anything other than the tones.
I think this is the problem with EVP at these levels.
Thanks all

Hi Mike, that clip does sound musical doesn't it?   It's probably just noise but I hear things most people don't.  Nice try though!  I look forward to hearing others when you have time.  Have a great day!

Not able to do a close up.

This picture is from ebay and only one provided. I haven't received the receiver yet...Just  won it a few days ago. He doesn't ship very quickly for some reason....

I think he said something like 12 to 19 days after payment clears, that he will ship item. I was thinking that he gave that extremely long shipping time to cover himself from others complaining if he was a little late, but I read in his feedback that he is "slow". so don't know whats up with that.

Something new to mess with though and not very expensive. Besides the paypal has a refund if not received or another problem I guess.

Hi Mike, just listening again and it now sounds like "she looks right at you"?

Here is the best I can get for a picture (seller sent quickly)...received the Raudive Receiver today. I used a cell phone because I never use any other.

Kinda blurry as my old Blackberry Curve doesn't have micro settings.

I will need to add another  picture as a "quote" to this message.

This is 2nd "blurry" close up of the coil.

Well I guess this picture is about near identical to the first one.

I will get the Specs on the resister next time I open it again (soon).

Most interesting, are those loops coils? this must be way more than 500mh

Am going to be busy with work for the next week or so but am still working on matters.

Yea, those are thick loops. I don't know the reason for that form...or if it was just what was available. I will see if I can get some information from the seller.

Howdy,

That looks like an RF Choke Coil and depending on the manufacturer it could be 500uH.

You did mean 500 microhenries instead of milihenries didn't you?

Here's a couple of ebay examples:

This is for a 500uH coil:

http://cgi.ebay.com/3-Heathkit-SB-HW-100-101-500-uH-RF-Choke-Coils-/260752445209?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3cb60e8f19

Here is a 1mH or 1000uH coil:

http://cgi.ebay.com/1mH-3-Pi-Choke-Found-vintage-equipment-New-/290544574840?pt=Vintage_Electronics_R2&hash=item43a5ce6178

For those of you that are not familiar with electronics:   1 mH = 1000uH

Here's the Wiki on choke's:

Ron

I still find it hard to hear and I feel strongly that a better method is out there.

As to the antennas, I feel they need to be more than what they are.

Some kind of coil is needed, something that resembles a mic head but not LOL

Look for example here:

http://www.instructables.com/image/FUGXU4EFYTCLHEW/Testing-the-AM-Radio-Circuit.jpg

and here:

http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_fbCGoSyYfBw/SSmrF-zYwpI/AAAAAAAAAFM/CDUNVkT-wSI/s400/raudivediodercorderschm.JPG

I feel very much that a loop is the way to go and I shall be looking at this soon.

Of course, what we must do is take away our 'radio' knowledge as I don't think it counts for much here.

What we need to do is be guided by our own intuition or that of spirit if anyone can help with that.

I'll be posting the results of my earthed test a wee bit later.

   Hmmm,

for some reason I didn't notice those link to pictures...

Is the first link http://www.instructables.com/image/FUGXU4EFYTCLHEW/Testing-the-AM-Radio-Circuit.jpg of what they call the "Tesla Spooky Radio"??

Thanks Ron.

There's a Guy on eBay that's also selling something "kinda" like this...with crystal (stones) decorating it...and using $5 made up words to sell it for "thousands" of Dollars :)

He sales "Amulets" and Keychains with electronic parts leads "twisted" together and put into glass enclosures for hundreds of $$'s also. I bite my tongue when I see those...I have to watch my hands because part of me wants to email him on ebay......not good ;)

I forgot about the Spooky Radio. I'd like to build one.
I bookmarked the site. Thanks

Hello again,

Sounds like you guys are ready to expand your experimentation.

If that’s the case,  let us visit our Israeli friends.

The following link is to the home of the Israel Group of Paranormal Investigators:

http://prgisrael.narod.ru

Click Projects from the left side menu or click the link below:

http://prgisrael.narod.ru/project.html

You will see that they have tried a couple of three designs including the Raudive diode circuit.

In the Raudive project page you will notice that they plugged the circuit directly into what looks like a Behringer 802 mixer which gives them a measure of controlling things like gain, EQ and volume output.  They even credit Keith and this forum for the initial circuit.

You will also see they tried an IR circuit.  Clockdryve might find that circuit intresting.

However boys and girls…………..the main purpose of this post is to draw your attention to project #3:   Diode Detector for EVP Recording

http://prgisrael.narod.ru/project/dioded.html

This circuit is pretty simple.  They even provide a couple of examples for you to listen to.  Remember to turn the volume down before clicking the play button.

Their Contact page contains several options in the event you desire further inquiry.

Mazel tov,
Ron

I wish I could give you guys my ears because frankly, I'm tired of hearing it all the time!  LOL  All this technology is so interesting though!

Good Luck, Debbie:biggrin:

@arizonaevp

Thanks for the links, I have mailed them and hope they reply.
No luck yet here, I built my own version with a coil wound on a quartz crystal in case Pizo came into it.
I am not sure the diode method is going to be that successful!

Update.

I was doing a little more work with the diode box as seen in the video here today.
I noticed a very odd effect, it came when I held the left hand antenna of the box. Here in this clip you can hear what I mean.
http://www.box.net/shared/84ypkrz05r

Now, I was outside with all battery powered equipment not near to any electrical things.

What do you think?

I have just been looking at these frequencies!
17,000 Hz! that is way high, no idea what could have made them?
