Before recording one morning, instead of my usual English Breakfast tea, I brewed peppermint tea. Fortunately the scent helped to elicit the first recorded comment from my grandmother since her death in 2009. Peppermint discs were her favorite candy...she always enjoyed one while watching TV at night. The first part of the recording (for inflection comparison) is a 'live' version of Grandma 'Meal' during an interview. The phrase is 'two different records.' The spirit-speak, "My favorite candy!," plays for 5 passes with silence between. It's a .wav file Attachment: 1 1 SITE A DW_B0745 Grandma (two different records FOR ITC).wav (Downloaded 609 times)
