One of a number of people on both sides of my family with spiritualist abilities, when it comes to mediumship, my aunt Shar is indisputably gifted. (Her polar opposite, I first embarked on a 30+ year quest to establish a verifiable line of communication with the on-living due in large part to witnessing her very active 'meditations.') Having received a cell phone call from spirit in the past, she was eager to be recorded in seance- and I was certainly happy to help her possibly substantiate communication and hopefully enlighten a few dogged skeptics. We, my aunt, my mother and I, sat a total of 6 times in a two week period (all took place in one location). Full moon occurred within the time period. The results are, by our standards, impressive...it was amazing to watch her face as she heard the first clip of a conversation she'd had with a female spirit named Dora. I've uploaded them in chronological order, not in order of clarity...there are CLASS A's mixed in with very audible CLASS B's. Though there were many more, the following clips stand out as the best of the lot- A spirit medium draws spirits to him/her and greets them telepathically- naturally, they continued to speak to her that way...it took some convincing to persuade them to use the recorder so the rest of us could hear them as well...During one of the meditations which was held in front of a wall of mirrors, the spirits became more interested in their reflections ("I'm so pretty!") than they were in responding to Shar's questions. Though Shar remained silent, on recording a female spirit can be overheard remarking, "Shar's yelling- you're in trouble, Nick!" The first sitting we met a female spirit named Dora. A strong spirit, the room grew very cold as she became frustrated that she was not being heard by my mother- the person she new in the 1800's as her sister, Emily. As it turned out we were able to substantiate her information on the internet immediately following the session. She introduced herself as my mother's sister from her life during the US Civil War...Dora gave names, locations and recounted relationships. Recorded files do reflect a high degree of accuracy with regard to Shar's recounting of spirit's statements and responses during spirit/medium exchanges. The first clip is Dora saying, "Dora." Shar hears her and immediately says the name. While no males are participating in the sitting, in the middle of formulating a question, a strong male voice identifies his home territory as "Slow Creek." In the first, A CLASS A, one of them insists he or she is not related to anyone present- this is the entire spirit/medium exchange. http://www.box.net/shared/static/o2e49n5vcj.wav The next, also for the most part CLASS A, the speaker is referring to his companion, "She was a broken lady."
