Hello All
I captured this last week outside the door of the home of a woman named Nelva. She passed away two days earlier in her sleep in the home. I asked her name and she replies "yeah" and then I think I hear something to the effect of "how_may_i_help_you_today". Recorded on an Olympus DS-40.
Regards, Dan

CD,
The home was a farm house 4 miles from the nearest home. I was alone at the time. I knew the old woman for about three years.

Hi, Dan. I hear a faint female voice right after you say, "Is your name Nelva?" I can't make out any specific words, however. Then, when you say, "Is there a Nelva here?" I immediately hear a second female voice state, very distinctly, "Yeah." About 2 seconds later, I hear the same voice say something like, "I was born (or from?) here." This is followed by what sounds to me like the first female voice that I hear when you first speak. Once again, I can't seem to make out what that particular voice is saying. Was this Nelva born in the house in which she passed away?

Hey Ty, good to see you are still kicking! LOL
Dan I was just listening again on a different computer and hear "Yeah or Yes" and near the end "that's all she wants to say". That's my hearing today anyway! You can definately hear voices in there.

Still kicking? You wouldn't know it by looking at me.

Hello Ty and drrh,
After the second time I asked and she said "yeah" I thought I heard "what_can-I_do_for-you_today" as a reply. This woman was near ninety years of age and lived there for over seventy years.
Regards, Dan

Well Dan, I'm getting closer! LOL I'm a bit rusty as I haven't been doing this for awhile. Some people I can hear really well though.

Dan take another listen when you can. At the very beginning right after you say the word name, I hear at .02 "Nancy is speaking" some of which is spoken over you talking at the same time. I do hear the "yeah" at .06. At .08 this is where it seems to change for me. but right near the very end at about .10 I think I hear "that voice can get out".
I'm not contradicting what you hear in anyway. Just my 2 cents. And we know what that's worth! LOL

Hello Debbie,
Thanks for the reply. My main focal point regarding this EVP was the "yeah" response. Usually I do not get too fussy regarding anything secondary, because it is not definite. Also it depends so much on the individuals hearing ability, software or sound card. I prefer to keep things simple.
Best Regards, Dan

I heard Nancy also after Dan asks about Nelva. And there is a a yes or yeah response. And there is a point when Nelva is mentioned as 'Nel', and about her being a friend.
Just my 2 cents

Now you know I had to listen again! LOL I still have trouble with the ending. But right at the very end I hear "get out" or "just get out" but not maliciously. Just matter of fact. This is a fun clip.
