Hello All,
After I ask the question _"have you died"_, there is a short pause and the a click kind of response which is a very rough reply saying "yes_sir" and then just following another response which is much clearer but fainter saying the same thing "yes_sir_".
Can this be attributed to an effort by the spirit just breaking through during the first answer explaining the roughness sound and then coming through much clearer after the break through ?, My opinion does lean in that direction.
This was taken with an Olympus DS-30 with medium microphone setting, and LP as mode.
I will recommend headphones for listening, as it is rather faint.
Please participate in the above poll, Thank You.
Best Regards, Dan

I slowed this down a little, and right at the end of the recording, I hear "I am (dead?)" Not too certain about that last word, as it seems a bit drawn-out to me. The "I am" sounds pretty clear to me, however.

Hi Dan, I think I hear "yes sir, yes sir, yes sir, yes it's Steven, Steven. The Steven is at around .07/.08.

Great Debbie, I am going to post a link for an online hearing test for all of us. I can hear the Yeah part, but I think my hearing has degraded over the years. Vicki

That's cooll Vicki! I'm sure my old ears could use some help! LOL I don't listen as much anymore so I'm getting rusty I guess! I had headphones on at work, now on my laptop at home and I do hear differently on both.
Take care, Debbie

Vicki I just put on my headphones and listened again on my laptop and I can't turn the volume up any loader on here (part of the problem) but it now sounds like either yes steve, over and over until .08 where another word sounds like it is said but I can't get it. It also sounds like a clock ticking or windshield wipers going back and forth. Go figure! LOL Yeah I'd say I could use a hearing test too!

Hi Debbie,
I just posted a hearing test. I'll bet your hearing is better than you think. I heard what sounded to me like a clock ticking in there too--sometimes we know they can manipulate sound in the environment to create messages. Vicki

Hi Debbie,
You can download a program called VLC. It is an Audio player (and many other things including video), but I would JUST allow it to associate to certain audio files ONLY myself.....but it has a setting where you can "increase" the volume output by 200% (double the volume) so that should help very much It also has a "loop" feature where you can set a start-return setting so that you can listen to the LOOP of your audio (helpful in hearing those weak voices sometimes). Here's a link to the website.... http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ that is from the actual makers of the software (no spyware). You will just need to look around in the settings "TOOLS/PREFERENCES....AUDIO to set your volume to 200% And in VIEW/CUSTOMIZE INTERFACE If you want to adjust the widgets used with the player....this is where you get the LOOP feature if not already on the choices of main player popup. It has been awhile since I made adjustments so I can't remember if original default has this LOOP button enabled yet...but at "customize interface" location it allows such personalization. I can help you with some of the settings if you have problems. Remember.....like all software that you install, it will want to be the SOLE player of all things it can attach to. So just be sure and only allow it to "associate" with .WAV files for the time being. That should be the type of files you are saving you EVP's to anyway (wav is a higher recording standard than some) And .WAV is available on all PC's for playback. *If you save EVP's to some other form---just be sure and click it on the list at INSTALL of the software. It will just take a short while to understand what this player can do. Isn't to overwhelming Can always remove it later....but this DOUBLE audio out (and loop on the go) is very helpful. Happy SAFE Hunting.

Hello Debbie,
That ticking is from an old mantle clock in the home , I no longer pay any attention to it when I record and I do feel that on occasions it does provide the energy that is needed to help them communicate. I have in the past shut the clock off and still received EVP .

I hear: "Aye aye sir!" and "Ahhoooooooooooooyyyyy!"
the
0:08.164 - 0:01.448 part sounds like the only evp (-B) to me and although I'm not sure what I'm hearing, I sense that this could be something said reversed.

I reversed it and it sounds like beginning with "our life...". I amped the 6400, 5000, 4000 Hz frequencies with 18(+) dB and the and the 3200 Hz also. Last edited on Nov 26th, 2010 01:01 PM by neokortex_simulacrum |

Tom I was just listening again and here "yes sir, I've been kidnapped". The first part of the clip sounds are the clock ticking I hear the difference now.
