Hi, Debbie. Was this made with a clothes dryer or some other machine as the background noise? I seem to be hearing something at regular intervals that sounds similar to the sounds a dryer might make. If there was no such machine present, then I would say that there might be voices present; however, if that is the case, they are at such a low frequency that it is difficult for me to make them out clearly.

Maybe if you isolate what you hear in shorter segments we might be able to hear it. Vicki

Why yes Ty there was machinery involved! I will have to isolate the parts that I think I can hear so you can better make it out. I hope that will help you in your evaluation of the clip! Thank you so much!

Thanks, Debbie--looking forward to it. In these kinds of recordings, sometimes I find it's good to have the question included so that the response stands out. Vicki

Actually there was no question per se, I had just turned the recorder on to see what I would get. But I will get the parts that I think I heard something isolated for all to see if anybody else can hear them.

Here's a small portion of the clip isolated. Let me know if you can hear what I'm hearing and then I will post my take.
Thanks, Debbie

In the first isolated clip, there seems to be something between approximately 1.0 and 2.5 seconds. To my ears, it sounds like a female voice speaking at an extremely low frequency. All I could make out was either "Debbie how's it goin' (something)" or perhaps "Debbie had to go inside." Of course, I wouldn't quote me on that.

Hi Ty, I think I hear two things on this one. First "Debbie you or we don't have to go away", and then "Debbie stop doing this".
That's it, what do you think?

I hear only one possible evp on the first isolated clip. Keeping your suggestion in mind, it now sounds like, "Debbie had to go away." However, if the last word is actually "away", then it is spoken with a somewhat drawn-out, lilting quality.

Hi Debbie,
I've done a dryer background noise and others with direct recording into the computer and have found that the only way I can tell for fairly certain if there is EVP there is if I ask a question or make a statement and I get a response within the noise that seems directly related to what I have said. Otherwise, I can not make heads nor tails out of what I have recorded. This may not be the case here, but I can't understand it without context. Vicki

I just wanted to post what I thought I heard in the 2nd and 3rd clip.
#2. I won't leave you Debbie, ever.
#3. Debbie, folks came and get me, nice to know you're going somewhere else. This one is harder for me to hear too.
Thanks, Debbie
