I am saying ARE YOU THEIR,then I hear Go Back Linda Gray?? If that is what said what does it mean????/ Hi,I have had this evp for over three years I listen to it every year and I never could understand what it said till yesterday. My Dad had passed and I asked for him,I said Are you their,and a man said Go back Linda Gray??????????? This is the first time I heard this as Linda Gray. Please let me know what you hear??????? Debbie I have a hard time with this one too. I hear Linda Grayes grandson now. My daughter had lost a child before birth I often think of him,are her.

I hear "it's captivating" a pause, then not sure on the rest but it sounds like 2 words. Something like "like this" or "information" perhaps. The voice seems slowed, much used on cop drama's for phone calls etc. Last edited on Oct 8th, 2010 05:51 PM by Slider2732 |

There is also some rubbing or sliding "artifact" interfering sound also involved. Is only my opinion in what I hear and others of course will hear other things. These weak ones (I get many) will pull us many ways. I have included your evp here that I amplified and used slight low pass filter....and then slowed down (a little) then looped so can listen enough to "burn in". Hope this helps. EDIT: Forgot to mention....I only clipped out the actual EVP. Your question, and areas of no sound were not included. Sorry. FINAL edit: Actually says "Go Back" here. Just to be fair....it did take me awhile to actually hear the name. It didn't just pop right out from the start. But the looping will help. Slowing down an evp can be helpful many times also. I used audacity for the enhancements for that capture and used minus 17 for the speed change. Hmmmmmm, I just now FOUND where you heard that "go back" (you got very good hearing) ;) It ends with a loud thump though and that is troublsome. * I like the little "notifier" bump at the beginning when he spoke your name though. This upload is still a little RAW but you might hear your "questionable" go back in here (I hear SOMETHING like that anyway). **I also hear this as "don't look" and "go look". NOTE: The end of this clip has a loud THUMP so watch your ears!! I definatly had to loop this because the other two words ?go back? were very quick. FINAL edit: Actually says LINDA here. I can agree with you that it might say "go back" but I can hear "don't look" or "go look"also. So this is a tuffy. But my sequence is REVERSED in the way you hear it too. I did nothing to reverse the file. I just hear your name first. This upload is chopped up quite a bit. Don't know if anyone can catch the words at all. Really all I did was just slightly amp where the evp's were. You might want to loop it to figure it out better. But not sure if that will hep because the 2 seperate area of the evp are close together. Intresting for sure. FINAL edit: In fact....MY sequence was off here. I can hear the long drawn out part of "baaack" where I though it was the "A" in Linda. So even the sequence is correct now that I hear. Hi Linda, I was just listening again. I do hear Linda at about .02, not sure about Gray. The end part now sounds like to me "the back room", room being drawn out at the end. Does that make any sense to you? Debbie
