Dear members.

 

Please could those of you who have found clear voice communications on given frequencies and modes (modes = AM, FM, USB, LSB etc) list them here.

e.g.

1500 kHz AM mode

This will assist others to make tests.

Hi Mike,

I have found that the lower in frequency you go, the better the results, or at least the better spirit is able to carry their voices over it. Now I prefer 150khz.

Really! well that opens up some possibilities for me then.

I can get down to 30kHz and often listen below 150 for navigation beacons etc, but never using a voice wide bandwidth!

So I shall try 6khz AM and see what I find.
