 I'm a consultant who moves around.  Living in the Midwest at the moment.  First heard of EVP from watching a Letterman show featuring William Peter Blatty.  Filed it under "investigate later" and moved on.

Much, much later, I ran across Instrumental Transcommunication on YouTube--I was watching a "related" video and ITC videos came up on the right hand column.  I was hooked.  Found this site and it seemed to fit my take on the subject. 

I think the strongest aspect of this site is the experimental approach it takes in trying to find the right "tuner" to recieve the signal.  I like that I was able to suggest using "hemi-sync" music and the response was more or less "let's try it."  That attitude is what will put this effort over the top.
