Thanks for going into the details of your technique again. I tried looking for more details on it but could not locate any of your posts where you went into that... but your most recent post here has helped to clarify some of those questions I had about it.

I have a question though... believe it or not, I don't even own a radio so could I instead just tune into a static between station on my TV instead?

I'm going to try it out this way anyway just for now but will be very careful to pick a between station that's just generating pure static and nothing more. We have quite a few of them here in my area (my backyard is Lake Erie.. lol, literally) which is directly across the lake from Ontario, Canada.
