And now for a picture of what I'm using. It's definitely a hack job at best......probably not the proper way to do it, but it's how the file is recorded(and what I'm listening to right now) As you can see, the ground wire of the cable is screwed onto the metal of the little project box. It's supposed to be grounded...........mine isn't. A short antenna is soldered to the diode on one end, and the other end of the diode is soldered to the positive, or signal wires of the audio cable. This is the most basic hillbilly way to set it up..........there are other diagrams out there which include various other electronic components such as coils, for tuning and adjustments.
