I've also noticed the same effect but under different circumstances. I made different modifications of the TDC device and noticed the weirdness - it seems germanium is able to "transmit" some background noises and even present in the same room human's voice. But! Not every existing moment! Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. It's exactly what Scole experiment was about - we need the presence of a medium-type human being and possibly some kind of open portal or something which is in synchronicity with our working device and us.
I know my story doesn't explain anything but it's my distorted vision of what's going on during the process for now.
That's why I think the spirit team from Scole experiment told to use Germanium and nothing else as alternative. Perhaps it's germanium's mystical qualities which are not yet described by the modern science.
Just trust your intuition, no one can help in this unknown territory.
