JUST for fun, I tried something.
I plugged in the Radio Shack "2.5mm MONO plug to 3.5mm female adapter" into the RR-DR60, then just plugged my Sony headphones' 3.5mm STEREO male plug into that adapters female end and the audio from the DR60 DOES output to my headphones! So i assume that means the recorders output jack is okay?
Since this appears to be an RCA mono-to-stereo adapter. I've ordered a dual male end 3.5mm stereo cable, and if that works, allowing me to transfer the audio to PC from the RR-DR60 I'll post back here and let you know!
