I don't know if I could explain to my wife, why I would be cooking a 14" piece of steel, with a blow torch...............
Great idea on the scraper. I will look for something along the lines of a hand scraper to start out with.
I was just putting the idea out there. Looks like I'm going to have to build it myself.
I would like to incorporate (if possible), the idea of modulating the detector diode's curve properties, into my next VT sweep box.
Outside of a photo-diode, I can't presently think of any other way (possibly) to do this, except for mechanical manipulation.
