Hi Paul,

Most of the kits and diagrams I found were for reception of frequencies below 10 meters - 30 MHz.

However,  I did find one that might work for you.

If you look at this kit, you will see it also has a schematic:

http://www.mtmscientific.com/swradio.html

You will also read that:

"The nominal tuning range is 5-15 MHz. The tuning range can be adjusted lower by adding more coil turns, or removing turns for tuning higher."

The price for the kit is listed at $87.50 (US) and that includes free worldwide shipping.

Here Is Something For You To Consider:

For the same or less money,  you can get a regular multi-band receiver that will pick up shortwave up to 29.99 MHz.  These radios also have additional capabilities such as scanning and SSB.

Some of the Tecsun radios seem to have good reviews for the price.  People seem to like the PL-210 & PL-600.   Others like Grundig or Kaito brands.

Just be sure to read the specifications.

Of course, it is your choice on what you want to do.

Take Care,
Ron
