Hi Lance The week prior to recording this evp I had been watching a Catholic priest Father Groeschel give a series of talks on the 'Hope' of God'. I really didn't understand what he meant by that. I understood someone having Hope in God, or Hope that God will help them. But he said God was Hope itself, eternal Hope. It was something I just could not wrap my mind around. Then I read a Wikipedia article and this one line stood out, 'Hope is the state which promotes the desire of positive outcomes related to events and circumstances in one's life or in the world at large' So the message was simple, God desires a positive result in all our events, even those of suffering. When we 'Don't give up hope of God' we accept that everything is under his domination, and provenance, and will eventually cause good to happen. I guess my mother wanted to make sure I give it the best I can. Take Care Neil Last edited on May 7th, 2014 11:11 PM by NKiernan |
