I don't see anything wrong with the newer LED lights. Spirit has a way of accommodating us as best they can and it seems you have achieved good results with LED's.
For a container, I use a 12 quart stainless steel cooking pot which is about a foot tall. I place 1-1/2 to 2 inches of water in it.
I've used finger to agitate as well as a long straw to create bubbles. Any more, I gently move the TV tray the cooking pot sits on.
I'm looking forward to seeing some of your photo's.
