The Olympus LS10 is binaural and does demonstrate that the phenomena is captured by both microphones, and is directional. Although recording at 96kHz, EVP are as rare as Hen's teeth.
I will not use any form of white noise unless directed by a communicator. We work well with no additional carrier wave and I'm not prepared to change the method and introduce new variables. I know some see this as regressive but my priority is to establish a good channel of communication.
I'm sure for some that defining the path of capture is critical, for us it isn't and I will not be swayed in the direction of research. If we can find a technician who is willing to work with the group, within our constraints, then maybe we will look at it again but not at the moment.
I didn’t ever go back to find out Mr Thorne’s first name, to me it wasn’t important. There wasn’t a need to prove it to myself or anybody else. Over the years I have asked on occasion if he was able to speak to us but I’ve never heard a reply.
