Yes I do play back using the recorder and that is going to change thanks to your suggestion to use the computer, and no I wasn't using noise reduction, but will if I can. As far as listening and recording at the same time; if I record with the earbuds pluged in to the ear jack I get very loud distortion. So you can actually talk and hear voices at the same time? That would be fantastic as you would be able to stop talking when they are. Frank
