 Just my opinion.......Look for solid metal cased Olympus recorder, the DS-30,40,50 's or the LS-10, 11's, and yes I am biased in my choice..  I have had a few Sony's and it amounts to... do you prefer Chevy's or Fords. Both are good . It's not the recorder that captures evp's. I believe it is the person with the recorder that they feel comfortable with that get's the best results. Spend a bunch or be on a budget.....does not matter. intention and focus is the thing that makes the choice of recorder work for capturing evp.
