 Hello all

I know that I'm not going to be popular for bringing this to the forum but my search for those involved in recording clear EVP has drawn absolutely no results. I'd appreciate your thoughts on the following.

Electronic Voice Phenomena is historically defined as being heard on media only when you play back a recording ( not at the time of recording ). Yet many people are declaring clips from radio scanners / ghost boxes as EVP when they are clearly not. Why?

I am not saying that the other side aren't able to use devices but they're not what other researchers or I would define as EVPs. This makes me wonder, how many people are actually recording EVPs with digital recorders or tape cassettes?

What puts you off using "traditional" methods of EVP capture?

I really would appreciate your comments.
