So..... Still using a yellow fluorescent light in the ceiling fixture; I took a quartz crystal cluster and placed it in the 12 quart stainless steel pot with about 2 inches of water in it. I'm also still using the 9 LED flashlight with the blueish-white light. I then used a red laser pointer which you can get at any department store. Aiming the laser at the crystal, I began to agitate the water and start the camera. If you use a bit of plastic wrap or sandwich bag you can diffuse the laser and create a wider beam if you want. Here are some examples of images I found. Warning: Follow all safety precautions if you use the laser pointer and never-ever look directly at the beam of light.
