Good to hear of the progress :)

The on/off is still useful. After all, these normally switch on via the rotating volume control and a simple, set volume, on/off might be preferable.

Billions of momentary's on old VCR's, kids toys...anything that makes a small 'click'.

For other switches, check out the dollar store for the 3 LED round closet light. That's got a small push to make/push to break on it, as well as the 3x superbright white LED's.
Also, for push to make/push to break is the great value 5x LED flashlight i've seen recently. It's in the base to switch it on and off and those switches are very well made. The black rubber comes off and the switch itself pushes out from the metal round housing.
Other switch types can be found in that aisle and you get whatever they are supposed to be as well lol...not forgetting that donor SC1088 based radios will likely have 3x momentary's on them anyway, giving use to bits if any soldering mistakes are made. :)
