Yeah, Pin 1, through resistor and to the battery terminal It's basically a way to deliver more functionality to the mute/unmute, by giving a volume level. Haven't had chance to delve back in yet, but am intending to today. As Joe wrote above "I use two TL555 timers to drive the tuner "scan" button and the "reset" button. I have rate controls for scan speed and sweep width as well as volume/power"
