Hi, new here and I am reviving an old post because I wish to modify my sc 1088 chip which is a part of this FM dollar store radio. The question I have is (for now), in order to un-mute pin one, do I sever the connection from pin 1 to the capacitor and then solder in the resistor to the power supply, or do I leave the capacitor intact with the resistor (variable pot) added in? Wish to create a super cheap ghost box. Thanks.
