Hello, Stacey. A good program to use for examining water pictures is one called "Free Video to JPG Converter." The program can be downloaded at dvdvideosoft.com and is absolutely free. It's also very simple to use: just select the video you wish to examine, choose the number of frames you want to capture, click a button, and the program quickly creates JPEG pictures from your video (it saves them in their own folder). Once you have your pictures (and there will be a lot of them), you can use a free picture editing program called "Picasa", which is available from Google. Good luck!
