 Hello,

 

I believe that they use anything to make voices. As for myself, I only get EVPs on a tape ( I get a lot of them) when I am speaking to someone else; at times they have waited for me to say something that they can use and then finished my sentence with their words while my words are gone on the recording but the sentence still makes sense in a different context. Most of my EVPs are in French but I will post an English example later.
