I've been wrestling with this one for months!Have recorded messages from John Lennon during previous sessions-
The following sound files are from a recording session in my home conducted on Wednesday, January 19, 2011.
Requested Lennon’s presence, but really wasn’t prepared for a song.
As you'll hear, solar flare activity made the entire recording unusually noisy.
Approx. 33 seconds long, the song is basically in 4 segments: (Between the First and Second stanza I asked a question)
Intro: “Invitation only, friend-“
First stanza: “Take this old black coat/ And try it on/ Till I get a hold of you”
(this one's the clearest part of the song, melody-wise)
Second stanza: “We always worry about those lights burning dim/ Truth can be a powerful magnet/ So vibrant naturally/ You make a good man/ Know for sure/ The way it’s supposed to be”
Close: “The Way It’s Supposed to Be, by John Lennon.”
(The reference to “Lights burning dim-” From what I’ve gathered, spirit sees us as bright light. As we age our lights continue to dim. Might be he’s concerned about Yoko’s advancing age(?))
